No it wasn't. If you followed Steve and Barry's history at all it was doomed for disaster. Selling everything for at or little above cost? check. Rapid over expansion? check. Varying to far away from its original concept with different new lines, etc.? check.
by far this wasn't a shocker. please.
Steve and Barry's is not vacant. it is full of inflatable games / obstacle courses / bouncers.
