As a dismay to many of its paid members, Superior Gym locked it's doors in 2005. It's still a mystery if it will reopen, since the equipment is still there as well as paperwork on the counter still (check out the pic).

I heard Superior Gym was locked out due to back taxes due, which explains the paperwork left behind...
Yeah, I've heard that the new owners are doing a really terrible job. I talk to my mom about these sorts of things since I no longer live in the area. She said that they have promised to renovate & bring in big names, but in the meantime everything is closing--which pretty much guarentees no "big names" will ever move in.
you would think they would at least sell off the equipment there?
I used to go to that gym, and the people running it were jerks. I know they ripped a lot of people off when the closed.
